Incredibly, Helen Thayer and her husband Bill at age 63 and 74 traversed the entire Gobi Desert on foot (almost 1,500 miles)! Facing violent winds, sand storms, surviving on tiny rations of food, and searching for water in 126 degrees of heat, these amazing world travelers have incredible tales from their trips!

Equally amazing is Helen’s journey on foot to the magnetic North Pole. She was the first woman to ever make this trek and has incredible stories of encounters with polar bears, unimaginable cold, and a storm that destroyed most of their supplies and food! Helen will be with us tomorrow to share these outstanding experiences! (www.helenthayer.com)
